The restaurant and bar at Embassy Suites on the South Side is local fare at its finest—they even use honey from their own on-site beehive, veggies from their garden, and cook their pizza in a wood-fired pizza oven. Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the South Side’s full-service hotel, Nineteen17 is the neighborhood spot you’ve been hoping for.

54th Street Grill

This Kansas City-based restaurant has several locations in San Antonio, and its S. With it’s laid-back, retro vibe, 54th Street Grill is the perfect spot for a cold one on a weekday afternoon.
