Local High School students help build self-sustainable garden!
SAN ANTONIO, TX, May 17, 2019 — Students at Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering held a competition within the physics classes on campus to design a self-sustainable garden that uses water it collects from the school’s water diversion system and electricity from 135 Watt Solar Panels donated by South Texas Solar System. The Solar Panels will be used in the project and various projects around the Brooks Academy campus. For the final semester, students have been prepping, building, and testing various aspects of the garden to identify areas of improvement and reliability.
