SAN ANTONIO – Representatives from San Antonio’s Brooks City Base will travel to Brazil for the SelectUSA Brazil Road Show in December 2015- Rio de Janeiro (Dec 1 – 2), Sao Paulo (Dec 3) and Belo Horizonte (Dec 4) in an effort to introduce South American investors to Texas real estate development projects. Brooks City Base Regional Center Director Sha-Rone Caffie-Reyes will host discussions with officials, investors and top level decision makers in illustrating opportunities in investing or relocating to Brooks City Base, a recognized development anchor in San Antonio, Texas.

The 1300-acre campus houses a community of family-friendly open spaces, retail and entertainment venues, high-end luxury housing and high paying jobs.

Brooks City Base’ list of neighbors and tenants include local government, including the offices of Senator Carlos Uresti, State Representative Roland Gutierrez and San Antonio Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran. Also found on Brooks City Base, the University of Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine, City of San Antonio and Bexar County Emergency Operations Center, Mission Solar, biomedical engineering, technology facilities and more than 20 other businesses, restaurants and headquarters.

At a recent press conference, President & Chief Executive Officer of Brooks City Base Leo Gomez announced the construction of Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center at Brooks City Base to a crowd of San Antonio’s top officials, including Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert. The hotel will boast 155 luxury suites and more than 8,000 sq. ft. of conference and ballroom space – the project broke ground in September and is slated for completion in December 2016. Another development, a 200-unit luxury apartment, The Aviator Lofts, is nearing completion.

These advancements and the strategic plan introducing Brooks City Base investment options to a more global audience has increased interest from stateside and international regions seeking measurable growth in a strong economy as well as access to industry-specific innovations.
