Patricia Conant is a native San Antonian with nearly 30 years of experience in the hotel industry. The Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Brooks City Base, the first full-service hotel South of Downtown San Antonio, will be Patricia’s fourth hotel opening. Embassy Suites at Brooks is expected to open February 2017.
Patricia began her career in the hotel industry as a Relief Night Auditor and Front Desk Clerk at a Courtyard by Marriott, 29 years ago. She worked as a Dual General Manager for Springhill Suites and Fairfield Inn and Suites for 16 years, and as a General Manager for Phoenix Hospitality Group, a Boerne-based company, since 2015.
In her own words:
Motto: My personal work mantra is “Every day is an interview”, because I believe you should give your best every day and always work towards your goals. It’s about personal integrity.
Fun Fact: I feel we all have a responsibility to recycle and minimize our waste. I have been known to collect my recyclables and paper at work and take them home to my recycle bin. In Austin, I had a recycle bin placed in our parking lot and encouraged the area business to help us fill it. I feel every bit helps and if everyone does a part we can sustain our planet.
Why Brooks? I was born and raised in San Antonio and proud to be part of the community. I have only worked a short while for Hilton and Phoenix Hospitality Group, but I am dedicated to having a long career with both. I am also excited to represent Brooks and help fulfill the mission of bringing jobs to Southeast San Antonio.
