Board of Directors

Joe Nix is a Senior Traffic Engineer for Civil Engineering Consultants. A registered public land surveyor and professional traffic operations engineer, Mr. Nix has lent his expertise to various land development advisory committees, including serving as a City of San Antonio Zoning Commissioner for District 10 from December 2016 to September 2019.

Mr. Nix was appointed to the Brooks Development Authority Board of Directors in January 2020. He also currently serves as a member of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Council and the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee.

Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering, Texas A&M University
