Brooks is the home of the former Brooks Air Force Base and the greater South Side neighborhood encompasses some of the San Antonio Missions, which are treasured UNESCO World Heritage Sites. To the north you’ll find the ruins of Hot Wells, a spa and bathhouse from the late 1800s, and to the west, the Texas Air Museum at Stinson Field.
