On November 1, 2018, Brooks hosted its Dia de los Muertos gala to benefit Brooks Gives Back, which supports the community surrounding Brooks. The historic Hangar 9 was alive with mariachi performances from Sebastien de la Cruz, Mariachi Las Alteñas, and Mariachi Campanas de America. While being serenaded, guests enjoyed a catered meal and were able to have their face painted by professional artists.
