CAST Med

The first step to a medical career

CAST Med High School adds to the pipeline of much-needed doctors and researchers in the San Antonio area. Students enrolled in CAST Med can follow one of three pathways: Biomedical Research, Medical Professionals, and Public Health Professionals.

  • CAST Med is the third school in the CAST Network
  • High school instructional spaces include a 215-seat auditorium and lab spaces for biology, biotech and engineering, virtual anatomy and computer stations.

For the 2024-2025 school year, CAST Med is expanding to include a middle school for incoming 6th and 8th-grade students.

TX FAME strives to be the catalyst for developing world-class technical talent for manufacturing and a conduit between industry and training providers with a primary focus on meeting the needs of manufacturers.
