The Greenline at Brooks was voted First Place in Local Parks.

The Greenline at Brooks is an award-winning 43-acre linear park that will connect the Southside mixed-use community to the San Antonio River, providing connectivity to 15 miles of walking, jogging and biking trails all the way through downtown and The Pearl up to Brackenridge Park. With recreational and fitness opportunities for people living at Brooks, as well as guests to the Southside, The Greenline offers a beautiful backdrop for you to walk your dog, play outdoor games, barbecue at the pavilions, or even bring your kids to enjoy the play structure.

The park features:

  • One mile of illuminated hike and bike trails and 1.5 miles of jogging trails
  • Sidewalks ranging from 6-feet to 12-feet wide
  • Fitness stations
  • Play structure
  • Food truck court and 23 picnic tables
  • One large and three small pavilions
  • Two restroom buildings
  • Ping pong and foosball tables, outdoor chess and gaga pit
  • Wi-Fi
  • Public art
  • Five terracing ponds
  • Six plazas and a great lawn

Reserve a pavilion:

Pavilion hours are from 9 am to 10 pm daily. Weekdays are FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are subject to fees and taxes.

Main Pavilion

3200 sf pavilion with restrooms and a concessions area, tables seat 16 people
FREE – Mon – Thurs
$250/hour – Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Note: A minimum of 2 hours is required.

Small Pavilion 1

700 sf covered pavilion with grill and bench seating for 8 people
FREE – Mon – Thurs
$100/hour – Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Note: A minimum of 2 hours is required.

Small Pavilion 2

700 sf covered pavilion with grill and bench seating for 8 people
FREE – Mon – Thurs

Park Rules
  • Be courteous: share the trails.
  • Shh! No loud music.
  • No water craft/swimming allowed.
  • Catch and release fishing only.
  • No outside grills or BBQ pits.
  • No glass containers.
  • Dispose of trash properly.
  • Pick up after your furry friends.
  • Keep pets on a leash.
  • Do not feed wildlife.
  • Park subject to flooding.
  • No overnight camping.

NOW SEEKING FOOD TRUCK PARTNERS:

Our Food Truck Court can accommodate up to five trucks at once and is immediately adjacent to Main Pavilion and Flyte!, our event venue and lawn area. Brooks holds frequent events at Flyte! and people can rent pavilions at The Greenline for personal parties. The brand-new Food Truck Court features crushed granite surface, electrical hookups, nearby seating, open lawn area, and free trash disposal.
