After site plans for the next phase of the Brooks development were leaked on social media, sources with the development have confirmed numerous restaurants and eateries are just around a wide corner.
Brooks has already announced plans to add Outback Steakhouse, Pluckers Wing Bar, and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, which is slated to open its doors next month. Outback Steakhouse and Pluckers Wing Bar are expected to be completed before the end of the year, according to Connie Gonzalez, Brooks development Chief Strategy Officer.
In as early as six to 12 months, area residents can expect Salad and Go and Dutch Bros. Coffee to join the menu. However, the construction and completion dates for MOD Pizza, Crumbl Cookies, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Bubba’s 33, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Snowy Village, and Stout House have yet to be determined, Gonzalez told MySA.

In addition to some of the latest chains, the leaked plans for the converted base include a food truck park. While plans to place a food truck park are in the works, the developers are still in early negotiations and nothing has been confirmed yet, according to Gonzalez.
“It is a possibility. We’re just lighting candles at this point,” Gonzalez said.
While Brooks has chains on the brain, future plans involve adding more local small retail and restaurant businesses of the higher end variety.
“We already have plenty [of chains] at this point,” Gonzalez said. “We recognize that we’re missing that town center portion, the high density portion, the super walkability portion where you can shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the outdoors. That’s something that’s going to be coming in the future that we’re in the early stages of master planning, and that’s what the people can really look forward to.”
